If you're like me and have a hard time determining if a product is actually "good" or not with all these "Free" and "Discounted" review crap going on I am here to say I BOUGHT this product. Now that we have that out of the way lets get on to the review. I actually purchased this to replace this model: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A9RN2L2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I did not like the Vansky features although the build quality was nice it was way overpriced and the control features being attached to the LED Strip were a real deal breaker. I took a chance on this 'Tingkam' model since it had: 1) longer LED strip 2) included a remote 3) was about $5 cheaper at my time of purchase. In terms of the build quality of the LED strip I would say the 2 are pretty much identical. The remote for this model works as intended and has an assortment of color combinations and modes. The one item I can complain about is the "adhesive" strip they stick on the back of this doesn't 'stick' very well, personally I would have rather had them include the adhesive pre-cut and included as an optional installation method. I'll think I may end up mounting mine with zip tie mounts to keep is securely in place, not a big deal but definitely worth mentioning. Could be I just got a bad batch with poor adhesive - once I get this completely mounted I'll take some photos and upload them. If these overheat or fail in the near future I'll return and update the review. *UPDATE* Added some photos, I attached this behind my 3 monitor set-up - photos show blue and red at the highest and lowest brightness setting. There are several modes available via the remote to make the lights fade in and out, flash rapidly etc. I've had these now for about 3 months, no issues or problems since the original install. Would highly recommend this set if you're in the market for an LED strip light
