I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the 5 gallon buckets sold at my local home improvement retailers at $3.99 each. I took a chance on this product, not quite understanding or visualizing how these Grow Bags were going to hold 7 gallons of potting soil for my tomato plants. I was pleasantly surprised when I unfolded the Grow Bags and filled them with the potting soil. The bags stand right up as the filling provides ample pressure to maintain a bucket like shape. I am 6 foot three inches tall, and my tomato plants are taller than I am. I found that purchasing a 50 foot roll of cheap garden fencing was more economical and functioned better than tomato cages. Simply cut the fence at approximately 20 to 22 squares and then it will circle around the Grow Bag and you can interlock it to form a tight cage. If you want a larger diameter cage then just cut at a higher number of squares. This product "Grow Bags"exceeded my expectations!
