Well if this isn't the most perfect next to your bed lamp than I don't know what is! It has three shelves that work out to be nice spacing between one another as well as a top one that functions as an iPad tablet holder and charging area. It fits my portable speaker great and like I said you could charge your vibrators and other little things that need to be next to the bed :-) I personally would not recommend plugging in the hitachi wand to this lamp as it would definitely be too much high voltage for that low watt running plug, it will blow out the fuse for sure! The bottom shelf really is hard to find things to put on it I recommend just doing it like the picture and finding a vase that's what I ended up having to do. As for putting it together it is a bit of a hassle I had to undo pieces and put it back together. I also wasn't pleased with how the canvas top of the lamp doesn't super connect well but it's nothing that's hindering his overall appearance or use. It took me about a casual hour while chatting on face time and not even really reading the directions just figuring it out as I went to put together. If I followed the directions I'm sure it would have taken less than 45 minutes with no mistakes. i'm giving it a five star because this is something I wanted for many months and it is exactly like how I had hoped. It's even cooler in person and was kind of rewarding to put it together myself. I would like to see how the white holds up over a year if the color remains the same or not perhaps I will post a follow up then. As for now I've had it for a couple weeks and I'm extremely happy.
