This machine has got some serious steam power! We are in the process of selling our home and I was looking for something to help me give a deep clean without me having to doing all of the work. This has been a life saver! I have cleaned grout, stripped wallpaper, cleaned louvered painted doors, cleaned Windows, and done a general cleaning of baths and kitchens. What I love is that things are sterilized without chemicals and everything smells so fresh and clean. It's hard to say how long the tank lasts because it really depends on your project and how fast you are using the steam. I let it cool off for 20 minutes before I refill it, which is fine for me. Some may find it annoying to be stopped, but I enjoy the break and usually have other things to work on in the interim. To save the brushes, spray, then scrub. Don't keep spraying or they will melt easily. I couldn't find replacement brushes on the Amazon website for this model, but they are easily available on McCulloch's website. One bit of advice: if you put the nozzle down for a bit and pick it up to use again, you won't get steam right away, you will get a stream of hot water. Make sure you are near a sink or bucket to direct it into unless you want hot water running down everything.
