The first impression is theTechWare Pro Ankle Brace Compression Sleeve is too small, but consider what you want it for and Persevere until the strongest or tightest portion is positioned where you need it. I wear size 7 1/2 shoe and ordered the medium, the large would have not given the support I need. Please consider that the sleeve is supporting your body weight in order for you to use your foot. I have arthritis in my 79 year old hands and fingers and I worked until I got my sleeve on my foot. The chronic ache is gone and the walking pain is just enough to remind me to baby the foot, while the acute pain is gone. I still use a walker yet, but just for poor balance. This foot was broken the first time 30 years ago and now it is arthritic and injures very easy and often. Please know the older you are the more slippery the down slope becomes. I am certain I will rely on the sleeve often. I thank the inventor for My new comfort.
