Wonderful little machine. I love mine.
This is a little work horse of a machine. I have the big Zojirushi Bread maker but needed a smaller one. My smaller Zojirushi machine that I got in the 1990's gave up the ghost, and I used it all the time. I am not excited about the big Zoijmrushi Bread maker as it is big inside and sometime I do not want to make such a big loaf. It is also heavy and hard to lug around and difficult to program imho. So, for all of these reasons and more, I decided to look for a smaller bread machine like the smaller Zojirushi that I had owned and broke. The SKG looks quite a bit like my old Zo and that is what drew me to it. The machine is much easier to use than either of my other Zo machines and you really don't have to read the directions if you are familiar with how bread machines work in general. I love the menu selection area with all the choices that you would ever need, and not too many to confuse the issue. This machine starts off kneading right away, really kneads the dough nicely, and baked a really nice loaf. You can even pull the paddle out of the machine (after removing the dough) and bake the loaf without the paddles. The paddles come out easier than with the other machines I have used. One caution however....Do not go off and leave the house with this machine running, if it is not secured in the area it is making bread. This machine kneads bread dough so wonderfully that it could literally walk itself right off the counter. Mine did not fall off but I did worry it would. That would be my only concern. I highly recommend this work horse of a bread machine and love mine. I think you would love this SKG bread maker too.
