I am so glad I found these and also did a bunch of research before choosing the brand to buy and how best to use them. I don't normally do that for inexpensive 'try-it-out' products but I am so sick of buying stuff that doesn't work, even if it is cheap. FOR THOSE WHO KEEP EXPERIENCING THESE FALLING OUT OF THEIR HAIR OR NOT STAYING IN PLACE: That is exactly what I was worried about because I have the kind of hair that is so much trouble getting things to stick, sleek, fine, straight hair...the kind that looks terrible without style but makes it impossible to style without hours of work and tons of product. I don't have or want to take that much time on my hair and I HATE having a bunch of product in it! I watched several videos on these and still thought it was too good to be true. My hair takes everything in the world to curl so NO WAY can it curl with no heat, product and dry is what I thought. After watching the videos, I learned that the key is to starting mid-strand...which I actually went a bit higher than mid-strand. Then wrap the bottom half of the hair around, then roll up making sure the end of the hair is rolled beneath the upper half that you are rolling onto it. Then fold it over the hair and give it a squeeze to help it hold. Almost all of them stay right up against my head even when laying on them for a bit. A few rolled down just a bit but that was actually the look I was going for anyway. I redid those just to see if I could get good enough to get them to stay against my head down the line if that is the look I want sometimes...low and behold, I was able to do it easily. I read a few chapters of a book, then took them out expecting what always happens with me with no heat, no product which is barely any curl hair....NOPE...totally beautifully curly. I was so impressed and happy. I am going to keep experimenting with them in different positions of my hair and using only the small ones or only the large ones and different combos of both. I can't believe I have been using heat all this time when I want to do my hair when these work so well. It cracks me up to be this excited about an inexpensive beauty product but it is funny how life-changing it actually is...so much less work/time/product/and hair damage. Very happy!
