🔆 UPDATE: FEB 23, 2017 🔆 It has been a year now since I purchased this box, and I am still just as happy with it as I was when I originally purchased it. This is the box I use for the oils we are actively using on a daily basis. I am impressed with the way that it has held-up, and how well it withstands the daily use by both myself and my four children. I cannot say that I am surprised, given the solid build and sturdiness of this box. The hinges are still firmly attached and functioning well. Nice box. Glad I purchased it. I bought it to replace a similar one I ordered in the same price point that turned out to be of a much lesser quality. This is really a good looking box that is reasonably priced. The wood without stain or finished but is in no way an unfinished item. It is sanded smoothly, is very soft and can be used just as it is. It is that nice looking. Of course you can stain or paint it if you like, but it is certainly not at all necessary. It comes with a relatively thick piece of black foam, shown in my pictures. I imagine this is mainly for shipping, however I decided to keep it in the top of the lid right, where I found it, for that added layer of protection. It is a good sized box, I measured it at 7" squared and 3" in height, see photos below of measurements taken. One thing I really like is the fact that the box is unmarked on the top, sides and on the inside. The only branding is on the bottom of the box and I have shown that in my photos as well. Nearly every box I looked at for sale on Amazon had some kind of branding on the top and/or on the inside of the box. This was a big part of my deciding to purchase this box, and I am glad that I did because I am so pleased with it overall. ✔️ Holds 25 Essential Oil Bottles. ✔️ Sturdy, Gold Colored Metal Hinges on Back are Sturdy and Well-Placed. ✔️ Front Clasp is Solid and Latches Securely. ✔️ .Easily opens and closes. ✔️ Unfinished and Unstained, However is Smooth to the touch andLooks Great "As it Is". ✔️ Ready for stain or finish if desired. No sanding needed ✔️ Slots Which Hold Oils in Place are Evenly Placed and Straight.. 🌐 OVERALL: I am impressed with this box. It holds a good number of oils and has exceeded my expectations, especially after the one I purchased previously that was such a let down. It keeps oils secure and well-protected.
