I was hoping this Sony Bluetooth Boombox would be what I was looking for and it sure turned out to be the case. Here is the breakdown : 1. The Bluetooth worked great from both my iPhone 5C and iPad Air 2. The NFC was a very pleasant surprise .. because it worked perfectly. 2. One thing I was hoping would work was being able to play an SD Card thru the USB port. I hooked up my Kingston USB Card reader to the USB port and inserted an SD full of music. I then clicked the USB button on the CD Player and to my surprise it contacted the Card Reader and read the files. Both MP3 and non-MP3 music played very well !! This to me was a big deal. I didn't want to have to convert all of my SD cards to USB thumbdrives. 3. Another hope on my part was that the CD Playerwould play all of my CDs both mp3 and non-mp3. And it does very nicely. 4. Finally, the AM and FM radio worked very well. I live in a Metro area so all of my favorite stations are basically local. One thing to make this CD player the the most perfect unit wold be to add Internet Radio capability. I can get Internet Radio thru the BlueTooth connection which I did but to have it integrated into this unit would be a fantastic addition. I was very pleasantly surprised with this unit. I have many Sony products and they have all been very good items and I had no reason to doubt that this CD player would be anything less ... and it wasn't.
