A darn good purchase.
I’ve waited for 6 months to post review since most reviews I’ve seen didn’t have longevity answers. I know 6 months isn’t ‘longevity’, but I’ll most likely forget in the future. Received last Sept. 1st, Friday. Opened box, removed plastic, bed expanded and placed on box spring. Stayed at my GF’s for holiday weekend. Mattress did have smell, but to me it smelt like orange peels. Not great, but not offensive. Opened window a little, aired out by Monday. As I stated in one of my questions prior to purchase, I’m a big guy, 6’2”, 275. So sagging/warping, edge support were kind of Important. I’ve had it for 6 months, sleep on it 5 times a week. So Far…. I haven’t seen, or felt warpage. I periodically rub my hand over it and maybe feel an extremely slight sag in the padding, but by no means is it noticeable. (Maybe my height helps with weight displacement. Roy had sag in his post, Gabby was thinking of getting a topper). As far as the plush/firm question. That’s all up to individual interpretation. I will just say, it’s soft, comfortable, and yet firm. I have enjoyed many comfortable nights on this mattress (I concur with Ta-Tiana’s post). Don’t wake in the morning with minor pains like I did in the past. Doesn’t have great edge support, but I don’t fall off my bed while putting my socks on. I don’t want to jinx it and have anything go wrong, but at this time, I am very, very glad with my purchase of this mattress. I sleep great. Maybe it’s time for me to spin 180 degrees… Due to comfort, cost, and overall very good quality of sleep, I have to give this a 5-star rating.
