Received the pillow vacuum packed, and it did take 2 days to fully expand and shape up as pictured. I also "kneaded" the pillow to help push and pull the shredded foam stuffing apart to help with the expansion. The pillow is heavy and substantial; however, don't expect to use this pillow without a headboard or wall as a backstop, otherwise you'll probably just roll over backwards. I find this pillow to be a substantial upgrade to the foam wedge and standard bed pillows I was using previously to prop myself up in bed to watch tv. I'm happy with the purchase, and expect to get many years of use from this pillow.
