The instructions show how to remove the battery. The case is very well built and easy to take apart. A simple disconnect from the logic board and its out. This is a cheap, as expected, 18650. 2000mAh rated. I put it on my test charger which discharged and charged to 1892mAh. Very good for a cheap generic battery, but I doubt it will last long. I replaced it with a quality Samsung 26R. Operation could be a tad less noisy, but it's not bad at all. Moves a nice amount of air on both levels. The light is very bright.
