The paperwork included with the waste says maximum distance of 25' with 5/8" hose or 50' with 3/4" hose. That presented a potential issue whereas I had read that it would pump of to 100' and would be doing every bit of that plus going uphill (Driveway where coach is parked is at basement level and sewage access is near house on first level). I gave it a try, and it had no problems pumping 40 gallons of waste 100' on an 8' incline using a 100' 3/4" hose. I did shut the pump off intermittently, open the water port at times to clear the hose and ensured I wasn't overworking the pump. It had no issue at all
