Chicco vs Inglesina
I want to love this chair, I had the inglesina with my daughter 3 years ago and here are my comparison thoughts.
Stability/installation - With the Chicco the installation is a little trickier, the instructions weren't entirely clear on how much to twist the "lock" mechanism and there isn't a clear stopping point? I don't know how much I trust it, as you tighten the locking system, a part of the hook gets further away from the under side of the table.. It isn't clear if this is right or not, but it hasn't budged since installing.
The inglesina was really straight forward and simple to attach, it was closer to the table so it felt sturdier and safer. I'd say Inglesina gets my vote here.
Clean up - I love the Chicco tray and although the seat is a slight pain to remove and install again, it's much easier than the Inglesina which needs to be completely removed from the table to wash.. Seems silly since I need to wash it at least every other day due to a messy baby! I don't like that the inglesina didn't come with a tray, the food often got smashed and stuck under the arm grips on the table, seems like I was always removing the chair (so I guess it's a good thing installation is so much easier). Chicco is the winner here.
Travel - the Chicco is a bit intimidating to fold down, I've tried it once and didn't enjoy it.. Then putting it back on I felt uneasy about the fit again. The inglesina folds down really easily. Although the Chicco came with a nice bag.. I think my preference here leans with inglesina.
Features - hands down Chicco wins, the inglesina is simple and basic. I LOVE the 360 feature with this chair, my son loves to turn around and watch his siblings play, feeding him is awesome when you can turn him to face you. Really neat.
Last note is you do need a MUCH deeper table for the Chicco, the Inglesina fit great on our counter/island where we ate every night, the Chicco would not have fit there..
So if you have a solid, sturdy table to attach your Chicco and you don't want to or need to remove it, I'd recommend the Chicco. If you want to travel a bit and plan to remove the chair I'd say Inglesina.
