I never expected this to work but tried it out of sheer desperation. I am so glad I did. We have an 8 month old boxer puppy and a 1 yr old infant in the house. I an greatly experience dog owner-I'm not saying how many years lol, but it's in the decades. I have never had a dog I couldn't train. Some were more exasperating than others (especially my beloved boxers, they're such stubborn pups) but I never considered giving up. Well, I met my match with Mavis. For 6 months, I have been under attack every waking moment of my life. Despite walks, play, chasing tennis balls on a large property, etc. I could not stop her habit of jumping on me and nipping-some weird game, all day, every day, literally non-stop. I tried EVERYTHING that had worked in the past with many previous dogs. Oddly enough, she is amazingly gentle and careful around the baby, but boxers are known for intuitively protecting small children. Haha, enter the Pet Corrector!!! It took ONE time!! After that I showed her the can 2 more times that day. That's all it took to break a constant daily habit. After the first day, I never even had to show the can again, it's now been one week. We went from, not exaggerating, at least 50 bites a day to zero in 24 hrs. She didn't even seem that fearful of it when I used it. I used to tease her every day and say "Mavis, you're going to the pound" jokingly (I WOULD NEVER ACTUALLY DO THAT). Well, now all I can say is good dog. I'm not sure if this will work for all dogs, but if you're at the end of your mental rope, I sure hope you can get the results I did.
