We've been trying to eat healthier, eating veggies instead of pasta. We rarely eat out so I prep, cook and clean. Spaghetti squash is just not the same as pasta and takes too long. We finally tried zucchini noodles and they were delicious. We wanted thin noodles, not wide, so I used a veggie peeler and a knife to cut them which was very tedious and time consuming, but clean up afterwards was fast. Still, it took WAY too long to be convenient. I figured I would try a spiralizer and see if it would make the entire process faster. I was debating whether to go with a small "manual" one or this one, which takes up more storage room and could potentially be a hassle to set up. WOW! This spiralizer is awesome and so much safer than a shredder or mandoline! "Attaching" it to the countertop was literally just setting it down and pressing down. I used the angel hair blade and shredded a large zucchini in under a minute. Clean up for that took another 15 seconds. The next time I used it, I turned two potatoes into a huge pile of hash browns in no time. Clean up took just a little longer to make sure I got all the starch off the blade and base. This spiralizer is a huge time saver, and I am really glad I didn't get the "manual" one.
