I bought this specifically for cockroaches. I'm no roach expert but my guess is that they're American roaches. I've never had a bug problem before but when I moved in about 2 years ago I'd occasionally see one outside in the back patio area. A neighbor 2 apts down has a million cats and keeps 5 kitty litter bins on her patio. Roach nirvana. The neighbor between us said he'd occasional get visits from her company bugs but I was never affected. About a month ago I saw a big fat one in my bathroom and nearly vomited. I killed about 4 in the span of 3 days. I had some left over advion gel bait and used that in the bathroom. It took about 2 weeks but I hadn't seen anther one at all. Fast forward a week and I'm in my living room working at my desk. For some reason I looked down and saw a big fat one crawling up my pant leg. I don't do bugs, don't like them and my neighbors probably think I'm a sailor/pirate from the barrage of curse words that followed the roach-pant incident. After a bit of googling and reading a million Amazon reviews I settled on Suspend SC. There were mixed reviews when it came to roaches but I gave it a shot. I bought a sprayer and mixed a 1.5oz to a gallon. I sprayed the perimeter of my apartment from the foundation to about 3 feet up and around exterior windows and doors. When I woke up there were no dead bugs anywhere to be found inside so I figured it hadn't worked. I stepped into the back yard and it's a freakin massacre. Dead roaches at the doorstep and all around the foundation. I'm not sure if these were backyard wanderers or if they left my apartment to gobble this stuff up but I do know they were all dead or in the process of dying. Now I just have to gather the courage to dispose of the carcasses and spray the interior.
