These lanterns have been one of my favorite purchases; they are still performing wonderfully after the almost 6 months I've had them. Through the cold harsh weather of Winter, the short-light days and the cloudy days, they have had no difficulty spreading their lovely flickering charm. If they have been shorted on light, they last from dark to 2 AM or so. If they have had sunny days, they last until dawn lights up the skies. During the short dark days of Winter it was nice to bring them indoors to light up the house. If I forgot to put them out in the day to recharge (sometimes 2 or 3 days)... THEY STILL LIT UP! Amazing! My very fussy husband still cannot believe how realistic they are and its so nice not to have to replace batteries! The metal also gives them a more substantial weight and feel then cheap plastic. Love them!
