Background details: I have fine, but pretty dense hair that tends to pull flat at the crown and absorbs oil and moisture like a sponge. It has a slight wave and tends to frizz, so even air drying is out of the question. It also usually refuses to hold a style, slips easily out of most clips and fasteners, and collapses if curled. Hairspray won't hold it, gel makes it crackly, and if I try to wear it down, it just slithers into my face and picks up oil from my skin. And it's humid as all get-out here. Ugh. If this sounds familiar, keep reading. I used Powder Play on the roots (@ the crown) of day 2 hair with a scant spritz of dry shampoo at the temples, and at the end of the day, I've still got volume and texture, and my style (down, not pulled back) actually stayed in place. My hair doesn't look greasy or limp, and I don't feel totally disgusting. I'm sold and will absolutely purchase this again!
