I originally bought my dough whisk a couple of years ago. I love it so much that I just purchased one for a friend who wants to start baking Artisan loaves like I do. This makes mixing the initial dough much easier. Trying to do it with a wooden spoon either breaks the spoon or your hand gives out from trying to stir. In the initial stages of mixing it's too gloppy to use your hands. You wind up with "dough gloves". The whisk makes it a breeze. Cleanup takes about 5 seconds. Run it under cold water and use your fingers to get the dough out of any loops or crevices. I would not be caught making bread without this thing EVER ! Thank you!!
