I got these bottles to keep in my travel backpack. I thought the collapsibility would take up less valuable room in my pack & be less cumbersome than the traditional water bottles. Here is the good & the bad as I see it: The good- The bottles collapse to about the size of the palm of your hand. I can get them both in one pocket of my backpack which is a major space saver. I don't like to carry a full size bottle in my pack not only because of the space they take but also because they can be uncomfortable when they are carried around for any period of time. Thumbs up here Baiji. I like that these bottles have a decent size opening that makes filling them easy. I filled one up from a larger bottle of water with no problems. Again, good job here. These bottles can hold 20 ounces which is slightly bigger than the average bottle you'd be charged $1.50 for at the average tourist trap -er- convenience store. So, these bottles can actually save you a few bucks. Very nice. Where the silicone meets the road is twofold- does the bottle leak & how does the water in the bottle taste? No need to worry in either case. The bottle didn't leak & water in the bottle did not have the garden hose taste I was fearing. Major kudos Baiji! I suppose I would be remiss if I didn't mention that 10% of the profits are donated to dolphin rescue & protection. Gosh! I love Flipper! The bad- There is one thing keeping me from giving these cool little bottles 5 stars & that's they are a little flimsy when less than full. You may have to tighten your grip on the bottle a little as you drink to keep them from slipping from your hand. To be fair to Baiji, they are made from silicone so some sacrifice in rigidity had to be made to make them collapsible. However, it is worth noting & I want you to be well-informed. All in all, these are a good bottles for a great cause so buy with confidence Amazon pals!
