Okay, I knew from the reviews that this sweater is what you might term “a large lady” and like many of my fellow reviewers I prefer an oversize fit, so I opted for the Medium. Size-wise, this sweater didn’t disappoint. If you want an oversize fit, choose your regular sweater size; if you want a normal/fitted look, size down. Another selling point is the arm length. As my nickname in high school was "Gadget" (you know, as in Inspector Gadget - go go gadget arms? No? ok.), I'm always on the prowl for sweaters whose sleeves don't end at my wrists. For reference, I’m about 5’10” and 145 lbs and the medium was just dandy for my purposes. It’s soft and comfy, too - so that’s a win. Not sure the decorative arm buttons are attached super well, so I might have to reinforce those. But let’s be honest, this sweater is, um, affordable, so I didn’t expect it to be all top quality or anything. But my big issue is the color. I mean, the color is fine. It’s a nice, fall red with a little bit of rust. But are you expecting the color PICTURED IN THE AD? If so, you’re going to be disappointed, friend, because that’s not what you’re going to get. Frankly, I’m pretty annoyed at the color variation because if I’d known that the red was going to depart so markedly from the sample picture, I would’ve gone with a different color. It seems like in this day of technological advancement, the seller could probably better match their product with the listing picture. But alas, at the time of purchase, the only reviews with pictures were white and blue sweaters, so YOU’RE WELCOME, dear reader, for taking one for the team.
