The one thing that is hard to tell about Mah Jong sets bought online is how hard it is going to be to read what's on the tiles. This set was purchased by another player in our group and when we played I found it very easy to read the tiles. The tiles are bright white, clearly imprinted, and of a size that is easy to play with. My set has larger sized tiles and "washing" them takes a lot more effort not to mention table space. This set comes in a nice bag with a protective wrap to go around the racks both of which appeared to be well made. The tiles store in a pair of long plastic trays that stack inside the carry bag. The dice that came with the set were extremely tiny and the scoring chips small, cheap and thin so I would look for replacements for those if you buy this set. Also, the wind indicator is odd. It rotates to say "E, 1,2,3 or 4" and does not stay in place so could easily get changed by accident. Ignoring the easily replacable parts I would buy it!
