I have a 3 year old mutt who has severe allergies. They popped up around 6 months of age. It leaves her itching constantly, hot spots, and rashes that turn into skin infections if not treated. I played around with her diet and found a grain-free diet works best for her. However every spring and fall, her allergies flare. Some sort of environmental allergy. I tried Benadryl and oatmeal baths. They do very little to relieve the constant scratching. My doctor recommended fish oil that's rich omega 3 fatty acids and DHA as a daily supplement. She said I would have to be super diligent in making sure she gets a dose every single day. That's the only way it works. It took about 2 weeks to see results. It was gradual at first but it does make a noticeable difference. As a added bonus, her coat feels like the softest it's ever felt before. We get asked all the time at the dog park about what kind of shampoo we use on our dogs to get their coats that soft. She's been on fish oil for 2 years now and nothing keeps her skin and coat healthier than this supplement. She loves the taste and has no problem licking it clean off the plate. Great product and Amazon by far has the best price I've found. ***Revision 7/11/2016 I have continued to use this brand of Salmon oil with great results. I recent received a shipment from Amazon where the bottle was leaking and the pump was missing. I contacted the seller who promptly resent another bottle at no cost to me. Not only is this a fantastic product but Zenwise Labs the seller has incredible customer service as well. Highly Recommend!!!
