I went from the Garmin Vivofit with the 1-year battery to this dinky kids fitness watch and I am so glad I gave it a try. It does everything I need it to (gives me the time, counts my steps). The battery is better than I expected and the app and watch interface are pretty well designed. With the cost of this watch at 1/4th of the other I'm never going back. By the way, I love that there are two band colors provided. It's kinda cool being able to change the color if I want. Update: Been using this watch daily for about 5 months and it's still doing really well. Charge it once a week. I do want to note that it is a good idea to pull off the bands on both sides every once in a while to clean. There was some white stuff caked in the noncharging side of the band when I pulled it off today. Also, I'm buying replacement bands soon since the band does get stained after a while and won't clean off. Still, this tracker gets thumbs up from me!
