Taking out one star because it's not clear from the title that certain very popular devices won't charge on the 2.4A port (Android phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4, or Windows phones like the Lumia). 2.0A port - all devices - very fast. For the Lumia 920, ~50% / hour, so just under 1% / minute. 2.4A port - iPhone/iPad only - fastest anyone I know has seen. For the iPhone 5S, 1%+ a minute. Extremely useful for a *car charger*. We recently were on a roadtrip and during a stop, my friend gave me his phone at 19%. In ~30-40 minutes it was up at 69%! My sister-in-law loves that it charges about 20% when she runs short trips like dropping off her son to school 20 minutes away. ***NOTE***: The cable you use matters, when in doubt check the charging speed using the ORIGINAL/OEM cable that came with your phone. The official Apple lightning cable works fine. The official "thick white" Samsung charging cable that comes with the S4 is fine. However, using the "OEM Samsung U2" USB cable doesn't deliver the same charging capability. So if you notice slow charging, try using the cable that came with your original charger.
