Science misinformation
The assignment on gravity grossly misstates science fact.
You may not be able to read it in my photo.
"Instruct students to crumple one sheet into a ball and leave the other sheet as is. Have students drop the two pieces of paper at the same time, then discuss which one hits the ground first. Explain that each sheet of paper has mass, but the crumpled sheet created more mass. That is why it reached the ground faster. Objects with more mass will fall faster."
I'm concerned that the author and editors are unaware that crumbling paper does not create mass. I'm also concerned that it includes an assignment on gravity without any knowledge of the difference between gravity and air resistance.
