Where’s the Editing?
I own a few of these “Five Minute Stories” books for my son, age 3, and he loves them. However, this Winnie the Pooh version must be from a different editor because it is disappointing. There are spelling and grammatical errors in the text, which makes it hard for my son to read. The vocabulary in some stories is tough and in others is much easier. Specifically, the word choice isn’t always “on brand” for Winnie the Pooh (Rabbit uses rude language, which I would prefer my three year old not repeat). Also there are multiple spelling errors— names spelled wrong (see photo). This book is just a disappointment, but I would definitely recommend others in the 5 Minute series because they are excellent.
