After item arrived I washed them with other cotton whites so they would be ready for use. Virtually every one of them had threads coming loose from the piping around the sides, some with large gaps between the cloth and the piping. The attached image is an example. I'm very disappointed they couldn't make it through one mild washing without starting to come apart. There are plenty of other vendors for handkerchiefs... Choose one of them, not this one.
