At first I loved this vacuum. It's light weight and worked great on bare floor and carpet, switching easily between the two. However, I've had this a year and I need a new vacuum once again. It stopped working well about 6 months ago, and I've had to adapt using other devices to clean. It is useless on bare floor (I use my $40 Bissell sweeper and a broom instead), and carpet is pretty mediocre. The wand/attachments are also useless as the suction is not there unless using it on carpet. I have taken it apart and cleaned this thing as much as I possibly can, and it still shoots back dust/dirt and cat litter that was already sucked up and does and does not improve suction. I also cannot stand how I have to lean it up on something or set it on the floor instead of it just standing on its own. I have cats and this is NOT good for cat hair. It gets clogged so easily. I would recommend getting a different vacuum if you have pets. Maybe it would be okay if you don't have hair to deal with, and may work better longer.
