Lasted for 1 season. Afterwards it wouldn't light up. I'm guessing it's the flimsy starter that went bad. If I can't find it locally and cheaply, it's trash. Its really just an empty box with florescent type uv bulbs hanging from the top.It comes with one mosquito attractant pack and if you want more they cost a lot. It did have a lot of insects getting zapped but I don't know how effective it was for mosquitos since it attracts all sorts of bugs from all over the area. It may attract more flying insects than usual to your area. Edit: I tried numerous times to contact the company and the parent company that makes this piece of junk. It is still under the warranty. I tried calling the phone number on the product and on ther website and nobody picks up the phone EVER. I left messages for them with no response after about a week. If you think you can depend on the warranty, think again. If I ever buy another one of these bug zappers, it won't be a Flowtron.
