I should have known better when I saw this on a lightning deal. First off it's NOT by any stretch of the imagination 1500 thread count it's more like 2-300. Go to any quality store (check Costco for example) and look at what real high thread count sheets are like. The 500-650 thread count sheets are FAR superior to this junk. And of course as others have noted the "Egyptian" is nothing more than another misleading statement to intentionally fool buyers into thinking this is Egyptian cotton. It's not. It's microfiber which sheds and does not hold up well to sustained use. These will be going back to Amazon and I'll resort to buying from a trusted source like Costco for these kinds of products in the future. They at least do not allow sellers to intentionally mislead buyers as to what a product is or isn't.
