Let me paint a picture for ya. It’s 3 a.m, I’m awake on my day off binge watching Netflix, lights are off in the house, and I’ve got the munchies. So, I decide to grab a bag of the beef jerky that I purchased from this seller. I open the bag and dig right in, I put the jerky in my mouth & commence chewing. Then it hit me, the rancid taste of moldy meat. I’m panicking about where to spit it out as fast as possible, that’s when I look in the bag and see what’s pictured. I was MORTIFIED. I. Just. Ate. THAT!? I run to the bathroom to get mouthwash in my mouth with a quickness I’ve never pursued before. I spit out the mouth wash & bits of moldy jerky & begin to literally quiver in disgust. I rushed for my toothbrush and scrubbed for a good 3 minutes. I then bathe my hands in hand sanitizer & get the picture of it taken so I can dispose of the lump of mold that has clearly consumed all the jerky. I bought this jerky while grocery shopping here on Amazon. It was the only item I hadn’t read reviews on! I’m posting this in hopes that yet another person doesn’t suffer the same fate of buying moldy jerky, let alone EATING it like I did. There’s WAY too many people reporting the same issue! I’ll never eat snacks in the dark again. This seller needs to seriously evaluate the QC put into the items they sell! What a waste of money & what a terrible experience.
