I cannot even rate the comfort of this pillow at this time because I can’t get past the most foul chemical odor I have EVER smelled in my life! I’ve smelled unpleasant odors from various mattresses and things of that nature before, but never anything like this. I’ve washed my hands with soap multiple times but the odor is still on my skin. When I unpacked the pillow it was stuffed completely full. I removed some foam and put it in the bag that was included to store extra foam in because I knew I needed a thinner pillow. I was not able to complete the process because I was too overwhelmed by the odor. I lightly sprayed some Febreze on the outer case and put the pillow in the dryer with a fabric softener sheet and put the setting on delicate heat for a few minutes in hopes the smell would dissipate. Fail. So, I put the pillow outside in a chair on my patio where it was 103 degrees and left it there for 5 hours in hopes the chemical smell would dissipate. Fail. Still no improvement. If this horrible smell is still there in the morning, this is going back. I can’t deal with it. If it’s completely gone, I will come back and review the pillow in terms of comfort. For now, IT will be sleeping by itself in my garage tonight. Update: So, the next day, after having this pillow spend the night in the garage, I went out there to check on it. I could smell it as soon as I opened the door. Just as strong as the day before. That ended it for me. Off to UPS I went to send it back. It’s very unfortunate, because I believe it would have been a perfect pillow for me, but only if it weren’t emitting such a hideous, offensive odor.
