I had high hopes for this item. I heard great reviews from friends about how they use it while hunting and have a swarm of mosquitos 10 ft away and won't come any closer. Well I got this a few days ago and tested it the last few days. I have gotten over dozen bites with being in an arms reach of it. As you can see in the pictures as I write this review I am being eaten alive by mosquitos. Now even if it worked I would give it a less than stellar review because it takes a good 20 to 30 minutes just to have any effect at all. The indicator light blinks forever and then finally stays solid but still there are mosquitos. It is also very difficult to light or keep lit. On multiple occasions I thought it was running but it was just wasting the butane and then I had to stop and start it again only to have to wait another 30 minutes for it to heat up. I am type o blood and like to drink beer which means I am a magnet for these little pest but I grew tired of drenching myself in bug spray and lighting endless amounts of citronella candles so I thought this was the perfect solution. I was wrong but I hope it works for others.
