I was so disappointed when I read the introduction and they said they had modified the recipes for today's cooks. The whole point of looking at recipes from the past is to see how food was made back then. The problem I find with the new Betty Crocker cookbooks is that they use too many prepackaged ingredients such as ranch dressing mix instead of the actual individual components. If you want to find lost recipes, try thrift stores, used book stores, and estate sales.
