My son bought this motherboard and an XFX video card to build a new PC. On installation, it would not post indicating VGA was the issue. We had the video card replaced only to have the exact same problem. My son called MSI technical support and was told this motherboard is only compatible with other MSI products. My son, being unwilling to completely disassemble the PC opted to do as asked and returned the XFX video card. We are waiting on the MSI video card to find out the truth of the matter. I find the idea that a PC motherboard will only work with other PC components produced by the same manufacturer completely ludicrous and I am quite furious at the pathetic attempt at support my son received from MSI. Update: We replaced the XFX video card with an MSI version of the same card, per the MSI support personnel request given to my son. the same result was reached: POST lights indicate VGA issue. My son contacted MSI, their excuse this time is 'incompatible memory'. I will never buy another MSI product or suggest MSI as a brand for anything.
