So I purchased this generator last year in April. Thought, ya know it would be nice in case with the pandemic hitting, just in case to have a backup power supply. Also thought, better get an extended warranty as well, ya never know. So the Gen is delivered, everything appears to be good with the box. So, I really don't need it right now, I will just store it in the garage till I need it. Well, comes to January of this year and I have a camping trip to go on. Hey, be a nice idea to have the Gen with me to maybe run the satellite so I can watch a few football games while also enjoying the great outdoors. Better unbox that thing and get it running. Broken motor mount. DARN IT. Guess I will have to do without football. Better contact them and get the ball rolling on a replacement though, has a 2 year manufacture warranty straight from the factory right. And I also purchased the extended warranty to boot. So I first contacted the extended warranty folks at Asurion. Well, there answer was it is still covered by manufacture warranty for another 15 months. So I need to contact WEN Products. Ok, that shouldn't be an issue. ( boy, was I wrong) After finally getting an answer through email's, they stated it was a shipping issue and I need to contact Amazon. Ok, at this point I am getting a bit worried. Did I just throw away almost $500.00 and I am going to get nothing cause one hand doesn't want to wash the other? So Amazon states, yea, you guessed it. There return policy is 3 months. So I need to contact WEN Products. Again, not so easy to get an answer from them. But there response is, and I quote, "The part is available for purchase on our web site" Really? Are you joking with me? So now I am LIVID to say the least. Nobody wants to stand behind there product, or there warranty. Amazon, WEN Products and Asurion. You all have failed me. Thank you for taking my money and not delivering a product that is operable.
