The generator is fine, but the company that manufactured it is not oriented to solve problems that purchasers may encounter. I did get the motor to start on both gasoline and propane but the generator would not output more that 3.3V on the 110V output and 7V on the 220 output. I contacted the manufacturer/distributor at 800 629-3325 and they would not provide much help other than to offer to sell me a new voltage regulator for $115.00. They said that because I purchased the generator from Amazon I would need to resolve the problem through Amazon. I did not need this grief so I decided to try and solve the problem myself. I took the cover plate off the generator and discovered that a wire was broken. I repaired the wire and voila, the generator worked. If you purchase this product, don't expect much help for the supplier/distributor. It works but if I were not electrically/mechanically inclined it would not be working and I would be sending it back to Amazon.
