Not the Hanna we know
Wanted and waited to watch all this time since the announcement. Doesn't seem the makers of this series are interested in the same demographic as the ones who made the movie. Movie Hanna was a monster predator trying to be an adolescent; while trying to suppress her initial impulses to be the aggressor in even the most innocent situations. Series Hanna is closer to that simple minded girlfriend of Brian the dog from Family Guy than she is to the movie Hanna but with the inability to control her hormones to boot. Spoilers: Hanna easily dispatches several individuals to escape a desert compound, very up close and personal kills, yet some smoke from flash grenades in the streets of Berlin give her PTSD symptoms????? The 1000 yard stare nonsense throughout the series made her seem severely and persistently mentally ill when she should have appeared reserved and cerebral. So disappointed. By the way Hanna could have been presented as ignorant to the modern world without making her appear broken and disinhibited in every teenage social situation she was faced with. So disappointed. She ate dumpster food... a character who was raised knowing exactly how her food got into her belly is reduced to dumpster pizza??? This is like telling us you're giving us a superman series but instead give us a guy who can't fly and lacks the motivation to protect the disenfranchised. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!
