Bought these for my 20 month toddler in November 2016. He loved these cupcakes. Played with these all day and demanded to sleep with them every night. Took him to his 2 yr checkup and he had elevated lead levels. We live in a brand new apartment and were extremely concerned where he could have gotten lead exposure. The Doctor asked if there were any new toys that he had extended exposure to, and we thought, just some cute toy cupcakes. He asked if they were manufactured in China and honestly i had no idea. We came home and reviewed our Amazon order and saw these were from China. Fast forward to last week, we took our child back to the doctor to check his lead levels and THE ONLY thing we changed was to throw away these cupcakes. No lead in his blood. I waited until now to post this feedback, but I thought all parents should be aware of the situation we just went through.
