Bead sterilizers are supposed get much hotter than this unit does. A brief google search for "bead sterilizer" and "temperature" will confirm. The usual figure given is 250 degrees CELSIUS (482 degrees Farenheit). And, indeed, the box this sterilizer came in said it would maintain 250 deg C. I've used bead sterilizers before and my instruments have always been much hotter when they came out of the beads so I checked the temp on my unit after it had been on for an hour. It reached 272 degrees Fahrenheit - that's only 133 degrees Celsius. That makes this dangerous as most users would assume the unit was actually sterilizing instruments between patients. This item should be pulled from the market.
