I bought these sheets, expecting heavyweight flannel. The fabric is heavier than regular cotton sheets, but in no way would I describe it as heavyweight flannel. Real flannel is much softer than these sheets. I'll keep them, but I believe they are misrepresented. An addition to my original review: After using them, I am even more disappointed in these sheets. Although I did launder them before putting them on the bed the first time, the colors -- blues -- bled. The blues rubbed off on the wall next to the bed, and the lighter portion of the sheets is all smeared with the blue dye they used. So, two problems with these sheets: They may be "heavyweight" but they are definitely not a soft, brushed flannel, and the colors run, even after they've been washed. They were a total waste of money.
