I purchased this Apple USB Super Drive in July 2019. Recently it stopped working with my computer and Apple made an appointment for me to take it to Best Buy. At Best Buy I was told the drive was manufactured in 2014-- it was already 5 years old when it was shipped from Amazon. I was also told that Apple items with software prior to 2015 are not compatible with the current versions of the OS Catalina or Big Sur. This information was also confirmed by Apple. Amazon's customer service is poor-I spoke to Francisco and then a supervisor Tatiana who were absolutely no help at all. I am extremely dissatisfied!
