This is a real review by a real customer. This dog bed is a good idea but very poorly constructed. The shaggy material and the bolster are soft and fluffy, but the floor of the bed doesn’t contain nearly the amount of filling that it should to offer any significant support. The worst feature is how incredibly thin and cheap the material is. The exterior shag gives the deceptive impression of durability like shag carpet. The material is actually very fragile and completely inappropriate for pet use. Within two days, my dog had a hole in the floor of the bed. I had to sew it up so it would not continue to tear larger. In a couple of more days, I found an even bigger hole. I had to sew it up so it would not continue to tear larger. While I was sewing up that hole, I discovered another hole and had to sew it up too. My dog took to the bed right away, but he doesn’t find it comfortable to sleep on. He starts out in his bed, but in about five minutes he gets out and sleeps on the floor next to it all night. My dog finds the floor more comfortable for sleeping than he does this bed! Every time I have to sew up a hole, it leaves a bit of a gathered lump. I would not have to sew up any holes if the bed were made out of more durable material to withstand pets. If this product had been properly tested, it seems very unlikely it would have been released to the public. Extremely poor quality. I would not recommend for anyone or any dog.
