Had this for just over 2 years in a home with very soft water, and I'm the only one who's ever used it. At first, it would stay up on the shower wall nicely - while I was taking a shower. But an hour or so later, I'd hear a crash and find the grip lying on the shower floor. (I have a standard tiled shower, not as shiny as subway tile, but good enough for this device.) Okay fine, I said, I'll just take it down after every shower. Then it started sliding around on the wall during my showers. Okay, I tried attaching it fully dry, no moisture on it or the tile. Same result. I tried attaching it fully moistened. Same result. Then it finally came crashing down on my leg during a shower, leaving a nasty bruise. I looked at it closely and saw where the rubber had come apart on one end. I should've tossed it, but I glued the broken rubber (see photo) and tried again. The glue didn't hold, and again it came crashing down. Now it's going in the trash and I'm getting a permanent grip.
