This plastic lock is not worth the money. It may deter the casual theif but anyone with more than a couple of minutes can have this off with one whack. If you manage to get it on and off without snapping the plastic clips that is. I decided to make my own using 12" of zinc plated chain (for outdoors/all weather) and 2 all weather locks. Total investment $9. If you want it, you're gonna have to cut my cord- nothing is foolproof but this is better than a $30 plastic box (and you still need a lock).
