I subscribed to the PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION, paying close to $400 out the door for the ultimate in cat tracking, only to our dismay the first evening out. Night is falling, I turn on LIVE TRACKING so I can find my cat. It tries to find the cat but cannot. I get an error message that suggests I move closer to my cat so that the GPS can try and find it again. THAT MAKES NO SENSE AND IS NOT HOW GPS WORKS, but whatever. I get on the phone with customer support. The tech support made ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT TO FIND MY CAT. Instead, he was very laid back about the whole situation, and than told me that UNLESS I SPEAK IN HIS OWN LANGUAGE, he will continue to refuse me support. Granted this whole conversation has taken place in English, and he also refuses to tell me which language I need to address him with. Then he hangs up on me. Frantic, I get on LIVE CHAT. It's now completely dark out, and there's still no sight of my cat. The chat rep tells me that the PHONE REP HAD TURNED OFF LIVE TRACKING!!! Not only did he refuse to help, he went out of his way to ENDANGER MY CAT. The chat rep immediately turned it back on, my phone refreshed, and it pinged my cat. I then proceed to WALK AROUND IN CIRCLES as every time I approached my cats location on the screen, it jumps away from me. So unless MY CAT IS HOVERING IN MID AIR OR TUNNELING UNDERGROUND, the GPS is just plain inaccurate. I'm staring at where the cat should be in the back yard and it's just grass. The rep tells me that everything is ok because the cat is within the SAFE ZONE. This does me no good because it is pitch black out, I've wasted at least an hour with slow, unresponsive, and racist tech support, and this supposed SAFE ZONE is now an UNSAFE ZONE as after nightfall we have numerous urban coyote attacks in our yards. Tech support says nothing. Eventually my cat came back, with no help of this GPS. The tried and true techniques of positive reinforcement with cat treats, and tying a bell to their harness are still FAR SUPERIOR to this piece of junk. The best thing about this product is how easy it was to get my full refund. I'm certainly glad I tried this product out before going on our national road trip with the cat.
