I bought this chair for gaming after a friend recommended it due to the affordability and similar design to higher end "gaming chairs". The chair is comfortable at first but wears out very fast compared to chairs I've used in the past. After 8 months pieces of the arm rest were coming off in small chunks. After about 10 months the bottom cushion began to give at the seam and pieces of black material were peeling off all over the bottom afterwards. I contacted the company as the chair was falling completely apart in under 1 year. The representative I spoke to said he would replace the chair if I gave them a positive customer service review. Had they just replaced the chair, I would've done that anyway after dealing with so many warranty hassles in the past but it was rather odd that he made me put the review in before he would process the replacement. The replacement chair arrived about a week later and I kept it in a box for about a year while using an older office chair which I borrowed from a friend. After finally opening up the replacement chair I noticed some slight differences. It appears that they sent me a very similar looking but cheaper chair. The little lumbar back support piece was already falling apart at the stitching before I even used it and the chair was less comfortable than the original. I also tipped over in this one while leaning back and I remember the other chair having better stability. This one came with plastic parts where the previous one had metal. I would only recommend this chair if you're on a budget and plan to use it very little. If you plan to do a lot of gaming or office work with this chair I'd look elsewhere. You get what you pay for I guess. Update: Realized that they sent me an older version of the chair on my warranty claim which was discontinued because the bolts poke through the chair into your butt. I will NEVER buy another Homall product in my life. I should've known not to trust this company when they wouldn't send me a replacement until after I gave them a positive customer service review.
