I've been a master ASE tech for over 25 years. I bought this the other day during prime day because I wanted to see if this little device truly did everything that it claimed. I received it today, plugged it in, and then downloaded everything that was needed with no problem. It scans basic OBD codes and does basic monitoring like most handheld readers you can buy. However, this is where the honeymoon ends with this little guy. Upon exploring further i discovered much to my dismay that anything more that you want to do you have to pay to unlock those extended features and your access to those features only lasts for a year, so basically you have to subscribe yearly to utilize it to its full potential. This is unacceptable. It is not reasonable to pay yearly to be able to use a device that should provide all of the features that any other handheld competitor would provide up front with no strings attached. I will be returning mine as soon as possible. Don't waste your time or money on this Chinese made money pit that extorts money on a yearly basis from you just so you can continue to use something that you've already paid for.
